A Hike Without Us?

Bonjour...
We think the human forgot us..yep...a hike without us.

Yep..the rich and the famous live down there.

Smoggy Los Angeles. Okay now something is really fishy. Um...doggys ARE allowed.

At first we thought we were allowed only if mom choked us. She explained it was a picture of a doggy on a leash. Then we thought we could hike only if mom skied. She had to further explain the sign was of a human with a pooper scooper. What crazy signs. Anyway we were relaxing til she got home.

Have a wonderful day furry friends,
Luv

The National Dog Show

After turkey and football we were relaxing reading our Dog Fancy magazine when we realized the National Dog Show was on the big box.

What caught our eye was the hairdo on one of those kids.
Momma thats '80's hair. Glad my hair can't get puffy.

Look at this fella. Don't you want to pinch those cheeks?

Now for the real show...ahhh yea...Mom is that Benny? Bennys in the box!

Silly. Thats a girl.....

She is soooooooo pretty. Mom look...

Oh look at that wiggle....want some fries with that shake?  BOL..

Ben look at this girl. She's a big one...

Well the hot little Frenchie placed second in her group. And the winner is.....

Yep...Sadie the Scottie. We think we hear Jazzie screaming over here.
Hope you guys had just as much fun on your day

Gobble Gobble Gobble

Happy Turkeys!
For those friends across the globe here is a very short version of the history of Thanksgiving and the traditional Macys Day Parade. We did not make this up. The History Channel and Wikipedia gave us this information for you. Eat treats, drink water and enjoy your kibble.

The First Thanksgiving
In 1621, the Plymouth colonists and Wampanoag Indians shared an autumn harvest feast which is acknowledged today as one of the first Thanksgiving celebrations in the colonies

Macys Day Parade
In the 1920s many of Macy's department store employees were first-generation immigrants. They wanted to celebrate the United States holiday of Thanksgiving with the type of festival their parents had loved in Europe.

In 1924, the inaugural parade (originally known as the Macy's Christmas Parade was staged by the store. Employees and professional entertainers marched from 145th Street in Harlem to Macy's flagship store on 34th Street dressed in vibrant costumes.

Lily, did you ever wonder what it would be like if we were floating in the Thanksgiving Macys Day Parade?

Enjoy your day friends....
Luv, Benny & Lily
PS. We are thankful for everyday our family, ALL of you "our friends", cheese,bones,treats,stuffies...

Benny and Lily
California, United States
Hi all, a petite introduction: We're French Bulldogs or Frenchies to some. Lily was born May 21, 2007 and my birthday is May 27 of the same year. Mom had Lily since she was 7 weeks old and she adopted me in December 2008. We understand our furry friends have blogs so Lily and I decided to give it a go. Lily is from California. When she was a baby she use to open the closet door and hide inside. She loved playing and barking at her reflection in the mirror. Lily loves running on the beach and playing in the sand. She is an athlete. I have never seen anyone leap and jump so high. Plus I've never seen anyone run so fast. I love my Lillian. She likes me now. At first I am pretty sure she wanted me to return to Pittsburgh since I am from Pennsylvania. I was suppose to be a show dog but I ate to much. An extra pound or two will keep you out of the show. That's what the lady said. I love my new home, the beach and especially Lily, my new sister. Mom and D spoil us so bad. They say we are hysterical. So thats good. Our favorite things to do are follow mom around, play, chew our bones, lay in the sun, chase each other, eat, sleep and go for car rides.
